Lake California Gated Community is a hidden gem that still offers affordable gated living and just 12 minutes to I5, 20 minutes to Redding, and 1 hour to Chico. While some homes were built in the 80’s and 90’s a large portion were built in 2000 + and new home construction is still going strong.

With all the amenities Lake California offers the biggest advantage and request is Gated Living. All non residents must be invited, have I.D. and be cataloged before entering. This is especially advantageous to law enforcement and or anyone who wants purposefully entry into this community. My personal favorite asset are the two geese that live in the two large ponds at the front gate. These adorable creatures even have their own walking sign to cross the street.
